Overview
BAE Systems' Microelectronics Center (MEC) in Nashua, New Hampshire, home to the Advanced Microwave Products (AMP) Center, is a state-of-the-art MMIC foundry fabricating GaAs and GaN RF amplifiers, filters, and attenuators on 6-inch wafers (100nm/70nm PHEMT, 180nm/140nm GaN) for defense, aerospace, and communications customers. The Advanced Microwave Products (AMP) Center was established in 1985; the site is a DoD Trusted Foundry and received up to USD 35.5 million in CHIPS Act direct funding (announced 2024) to modernize the Microelectronics Center.
