Hana Semiconductor (Ayutthaya) Plant - Ayutthaya Campus
Overview
Hana Semiconductor (Ayutthaya) Co., Ltd. was established in 1997 as Hana Microelectronics' dedicated IC assembly-and-test subsidiary, moving the group's integrated-circuit production line from the Laksi plant in Bangkok to a new facility at the Hi-Tech Industrial Estate in Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya. The plant specializes in assembly and test of low-to-medium pin-count ICs, wire bonding, chip-on-lead, multi-die and stacked-die packages, plus custom solutions for MEMS, sensors, and automotive/optical/RF devices, with wafer-test capability up to 12-inch (300mm) and an installed capacity of roughly 20 million units/day. It was severely damaged in Thailand's 2011 floods but was rebuilt and has since added warehouse and production capacity. As an OSAT house it has no process node of its own, and its per-facility wafer-start capacity is not broken out from the unit-based figure. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at Hi-Tech Industrial Estate, Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya, Thailand. It focuses on Assembly & Packaging on 300mm wafers. Production at this facility commenced in 1997.
