Overview

imec's 300mm pilot line in Leuven, Belgium, is one of the world's leading advanced-CMOS research and prototyping facilities. Operating since imec's founding in 1984 and continually upgraded, it runs leading-edge process development, including EUV and High-NA EUV lithography, and gives imec's global partners access to next-generation process modules ahead of volume production. Key facility details include: It focuses on Research, Pilot Line, Logic / Foundry and 0.5, 1.4, 2, 3, 5 process nodes on 300mm wafers. Production at this facility commenced in 1984.
