Inari was established in 2006 as a provider of back-end wafer processing and RF testing for the radio-frequency (RF) mobile industry and became Inari Amertron following its acquisition of Amertron Inc. (Global) Limited. From a single 26,000 sq ft plant in Penang it has grown into a portfolio of about a dozen factories with roughly 1,800,000 sq ft of floor space, and its principal OSAT services cover RF filters, fibre-optic transceivers, optoelectronics, sensors and custom integrated circuits -- spanning wafer probe and processing, assembly and package test. The group is headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, with manufacturing in Malaysia (Penang and Johor), the Philippines (Clark, Pampanga) and China (Kunshan, Jiangsu). As a back-end assembly and test operation it has no wafer-fab process node; per-facility monthly wafer capacity is not a fab metric and plant cost is not disclosed. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, Penang, Malaysia (main plants; group HQ in Petaling Jaya, Selangor). It focuses on Assembly & Packaging.
