LA Semiconductor's Pocatello, Idaho fab is a 200mm pure-play analog/mixed-signal and power foundry on a 33-acre campus with over 50,000 sq ft of cleanroom, running 0.35um to 1.5um analog CMOS, BCD, and discrete technologies with 180nm capability. The site has made chips since American Microsystems Inc. (AMI) moved its manufacturing from Santa Clara to Pocatello in 1970; it passed to Gould (1982), AMI Semiconductor (2001), and onsemi (2008), which sold the fab to LA Semiconductor for about USD 80 million in October 2022.
