Overview

III-V compound semiconductor foundry in Limeil-Brevannes, Val-de-Marne, near Paris. Originally founded as OMMIC SAS in 1994; acquired by MACOM Technology Solutions in February 2023 for €38.5M. Processes GaAs and InP wafers for millimeter-wave and microwave monolithic integrated circuits (MMICs) targeting defense, space, radar, satellite communications, and fiber-optic backhaul. Process portfolio: GaAs pHEMT (70nm, 100nm, 200nm), GaN-on-SiC, InGaAs HEMT for terahertz applications (35nm, 70nm). Operates a 100mm (4-inch) production line; a 150mm (6-inch) line was installed but not yet in volume production at time of acquisition. ESA-qualified space processes.
