Overview
SRI International's Microcircuit Emulation Center (MEC) wafer foundry in Princeton, NJ (ex-Sarnoff Corporation) has processed semiconductors since 1987, spanning roughly 25,000 sqft with ISO 4/ISO 5 cleanrooms configured for 6-inch silicon and silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrates. As a government-supported US Trusted foundry, it fabricates form-fit-function replacements for obsolete microcircuits under the DLA-funded GEM and AME programs, covering CMOS, BiCMOS, and bipolar technologies at feature sizes from 3.0um down to 0.35um.
