NanoFab Central / North / South / Xtension
Overview
SUNY Poly's Albany NanoTech Complex is a 1.65 million sq ft megaplex housing over 135,000 sq ft of Class 1-capable 300mm cleanrooms across the NanoFab buildings, used for advanced semiconductor R&D and pilot-line prototyping. It was built in stages: NanoFab 200/CESTM opened in 1997 ($16.5M), NanoFab South in 2004 ($50M), NanoFab North in 2005 ($170M), NanoFab East and Central in 2009 ($150M), and the $365M NanoFab Xtension; the $1B NanoFab Reflection is under construction to host the NSTC EUV Accelerator. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at 257 Fuller Road, Albany, NY 12203, USA. It focuses on Logic / Foundry on 300mm wafers. Production at this facility commenced in 1997.
