TUBITAK YITAL (Semiconductor Technologies Research Laboratory) at TUBITAK BILGEM in Gebze, Kocaeli is Turkey's national semiconductor fab, established in 1983. It operates about 1,000 square meters of class 10/100 cleanroom covering the full chain from IC design and mask making through wafer fabrication, probing, packaging and test.
