Itzehoe Campus - Module 1 (200mm) / Module 2 (300mm)

Overview

The Itzehoe facility is a key production site for Vishay's Siliconix power MOSFETs, historically on 200mm wafers. A new 300mm wafer fab -- a first phase costing about US$400 million, the largest single investment in Vishay's history -- is under construction and expected to nearly double Itzehoe's wafer capacity. Cleanroom commissioning is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026, with series production of automotive MOSFETs now targeted for spring 2027, pushed back from an original 2025/26 plan. In July 2026 the European Commission approved EUR214 million in German State aid for Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe to expand production of next-generation N- and P-channel power MOSFETs at the site, part of a EUR659 million package for four German semiconductor facilities.
