Overview
X-FAB France in Corbeil-Essonnes, south of Paris, is one of X-FAB's largest 200mm sites, running processes down to about 130nm. The fab was founded by IBM in 1964, became the IBM–Infineon joint venture Altis Semiconductor in 1999, and X-FAB acquired its assets in 2016, roughly doubling the group's 200mm manufacturing capacity.
