Angstrem JSC is a Russian semiconductor IDM founded in 1963 (as NII-336) in Zelenograd, Moscow, one of the Soviet Union's three primary integrated circuit manufacturers. Produced 2,000+ types of microcircuits including radiation-hardened devices for space and defense, standard logic, memory, and power semiconductors using 90-250nm CMOS processes on 200mm wafers. Peak capacity estimated at 5,000-8,000 200mm-equivalent wafers per month. Declared bankrupt on 2 December 2024 at the request of Zenit Bank, carrying net debt of ~RUB 236.3 billion (~$2.5B) that originated from a 2008 guarantee for the adjacent Angstrem-T facility's VEB.RF credit line.
