Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is a US federal research facility in Livermore, California, operated by Lawrence Livermore National Security LLC for the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration. Founded 1952. The Center for Micro and Nanotechnology (CMNT) provides cleanroom fabrication for MEMS sensors, ultrawide bandgap devices, quantum chips, biomedical implants, and national security applications.
