Fuji Electric Power Semiconductor Sites
Overview
Fuji Electric's Matsumoto Factory was completed in 1942-44 for wartime production and was heavily bombed near the end of WWII; it was rebuilt afterward and became a key manufacturing site in Nagano's postwar electronics industry. A new power semiconductor R&D building was completed there in 2015, and the site continues to manufacture Fuji Electric's semiconductor products today.
