GalaxyCore Inc. is a Chinese CMOS image sensor (CIS) designer and manufacturer, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Shanghai. Listed on the Shanghai STAR Market (688728.SS), GalaxyCore began as a fabless company but transitioned to a fab-lite model: since December 2023 it has operated its own 12-inch CIS wafer fab in Lin-gang, Shanghai for tighter process-design integration, while continuing to use external foundries such as SMIC for additional volume.
