Founded 28 January 2013 in Fengxi New City, Xixian New District (greater Xi'an), Shaanxi province, Yuanjie is one of China's few vertically-integrated indium phosphide (InP) laser-chip manufacturers, running the full flow from MOCVD epitaxial growth through chip fabrication and testing in-house. It supplies DFB, EML and high-power continuous-wave (CW) laser chips spanning 2.5G to 100G+ speeds for telecom, data-center, 5G and automotive-lidar applications, and listed on Shanghai's STAR Market (688498) in 2022. As a compound-semiconductor optical-chip fab, it has no silicon process node; wafer size, per-facility capacity and plant cost are not publicly disclosed at a per-fab level.
