Vedanta Semiconductor Fabs

Vedanta Semiconductors Private Limited (VSPL) is a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources pursuing India's first 300mm semiconductor fab at Dholera SIR, Gujarat, under India's Semicon India programme. The original JV with Foxconn collapsed in 2023. As of mid-2025, the project is in planning with a new technology partner sought; a separate Tata Electronics / PSMC fab at the same Dholera site is already under construction.
