Hua Hong Wuxi II (Fab 9) is Hua Hong Semiconductor's second 300mm production line in Wuxi, a $6.7B expansion focused on 28nm-class and older specialty processes including a 40nm embedded NVM process transferred from STMicroelectronics. The line held its production commencement ceremony on December 10, 2024, completed about 100 days ahead of schedule, and is ramping toward roughly 83,000 wafers per month by the end of 2026, with Phase II construction starting in early 2026.
