onsemi's Bucheon, South Korea site (1.1M sq ft) traces to a Samsung Electronics power-semiconductor plant that Fairchild Semiconductor acquired for $450 million in a deal announced December 1998 and finalized April 1999; onsemi gained it through its 2016 acquisition of Fairchild.
