Overview
Soitec Singapore PR1 is a 300mm SOI wafer fab producing RF-SOI, FD-SOI, and Photonics-SOI substrates at Pasir Ris Wafer Fab Park. The fab produced Soitec's first SOI wafers made in Asia and was officially opened on 7 November 2008 under an investment program of about SGD 700 million; after years of reduced utilization it added an FD-SOI pilot line in September 2017 (~USD 40 million) and returned to full production as SOI demand grew.
