Overview
Soitec Singapore PR1A is the extension fab on the Pasir Ris campus, producing 300mm RF-SOI, FD-SOI, and Photonics-SOI substrates and 300mm SOI refresh capacity. Ground was broken on 9 December 2022 and completion came in 2024, adding 45,000 m2 of cleanroom and office space and doubling the site's capacity from about 1 million to about 2 million 300mm SOI wafers per year, with the Singapore workforce planned to grow from roughly 300 to over 600 employees by 2026.
