Epistar Fab A1 at the Hsinchu Science Park is the LED maker's headquarters fab, producing LED epitaxial wafers and chips. Epistar, founded in 1996 in Hsinchu and merged into the Ennostar holding group in 2021, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of LED epitaxial wafers and dies.
