Overview
AMK8 is ST's 200mm (8-inch) wafer fab in Singapore, completed in 2001, producing analog and power semiconductors. ST's own 2025 investor materials state the company has not built a 300mm fab since 2002 (Crolles2), and multiple sources (2019 PMO opening speech, construction records) confirm this site is 8-inch/200mm. A September 2019 expansion more than doubled ST's 8-inch manufacturing capacity in Singapore. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2, Singapore. It focuses on Analog / Power, Mixed-Signal and 65, 90, 130 process nodes on 200mm wafers. Production at this facility commenced in 2001.
