Nampa, ID Campus (ex-Zilog Mod III / Aptina Imaging)
Overview
onsemi's Nampa, Idaho facility performs color filter array and micro-lens wafer processing plus probe test for CMOS image sensors, on both 200mm (8-inch) and 300mm (12-inch) wafers. The 157,000 sq ft building at 1401 N Kings Rd traces to Zilog's 'Mod III' 8-inch wafer fab, built on the site in the mid-1990s. Micron Technology purchased the facility from Zilog for $5 million in February 2006 to produce CMOS image sensor chips, then spun its imaging division off as the independent company Aptina Imaging in 2008-2009. onsemi acquired Aptina Imaging, including this fab, in August 2014. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at 1401 N Kings Rd, Nampa, ID 83687, USA. It focuses on Sensors on 200mm, 300mm wafers. Production at this facility commenced in 1990s.
