Overview
onsemi's Seremban Site 2 wafer fab, at Lot 55, Senawang Industrial Estate, Negeri Sembilan, is a 6-inch (150mm) front-end facility on a 5-acre campus with 50,000 sq ft of cleanroom, producing discrete small-signal, power bipolar, Zener, rectifier and MOSCAP technologies. It traces to Fairchild Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, founded 1996, which onsemi acquired as part of its 2016 purchase of Fairchild Semiconductor; it is distinct from onsemi's separate Seremban Site 1 assembly/test complex (ex-Motorola, 1999).
