Overview
GlobalFoundries Fab 7 at the Woodlands campus in Singapore is a 300mm fab that was formerly Chartered Semiconductor's advanced Fab 7 and joined GlobalFoundries when it acquired Chartered in 2009. It runs bulk CMOS and SOI processes on 40–90nm nodes; GF later added a US$4 billion expansion (Fab 7H) at the same Woodlands site, opened in 2023.
