GlobalFoundries Fab 8.2 is a planned new 300mm wafer fab on the company's Fab 8 campus in Malta, New York, part of a more-than-US$11.6 billion, decade-long expansion announced in February 2024 and supported by US$1.5 billion of CHIPS Act direct funding.
