Overview
GlobalFoundries Fab 8 (Malta) is a greenfield 300mm fab that broke ground in July 2009 and began mass production in 2012, initially built for advanced FinFET/FD-SOI logic and now GF's flagship US site for automotive, defense, and RF chips.
