Overview
M15X is a new extension fab in Cheongju built to expand production capacity of next-generation DRAM including HBM. Its cleanroom opened in October 2025, and wafer input began in the first quarter of 2026, with production volume ramping up gradually thereafter. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at 215, Daesin-ro, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. It focuses on DRAM, DRAM and 1b, HBM4 process nodes on 300mm wafers. Production at this facility is expected to begin in 2026.
