Overview
The Fab 12i Phase 3 expansion in Singapore's Pasir Ris Wafer Fab Park adds a new 22nm and 28nm building to UMC's existing Fab 12i site. UMC held the grand opening on April 1, 2025 and first-phase production is set to begin in 2026; the roughly US$5 billion project is one of Singapore's most advanced fabs and is expected to create about 700 new jobs.
