Overview
UMC Fab 12i in Singapore's Pasir Ris Wafer Fab Park is UMC's second 300mm fab, in volume production since 2004 at around 50,000 wafers per month across 22–130nm nodes. A Phase 3 expansion adding advanced 22/28nm capacity had its first tool move-in in May 2024 and its grand opening in April 2025, with production ramping from 2026. It focuses on Automotive / Specialty, Logic / Foundry and 22, 28, 40, 55, 65, 90, 130, 40, 55 process nodes on 300mm wafers.
