Overview
UMC Fab 8N is the 200mm fab of Hejian Technology in Suzhou Industrial Park, China, in production since May 2003. UMC held a 15% stake before acquiring the remaining shares in 2009 (about US$285 million) to make Hejian a subsidiary. The fab runs specialty processes down to 0.11µm (110nm). Key facility details include: The facility is situated at Suzhou, China. It focuses on Analog / Power, Logic / Foundry and 110, 350 process nodes on 200mm wafers. This site represents a production capacity of 83,300 wafers per month. Production at this facility commenced in 2003.
