Amkor Technology Philippines (ATP) is one of Amkor's oldest manufacturing operations. Amkor established its Philippine presence in 1989 by acquiring an AMD assembly plant, then expanded with the P3 packaging plant completed in 1995 and the P4 plant in 2000. Its factories are located in Muntinlupa City (P1, dedicated to legacy leadframe products) and Binan, Laguna (P3/P4), operating within Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) zones.
