Texas Instruments Sherman SM1 is the first of up to four connected 300mm wafer fabs planned for TI's Sherman, Texas megasite, a roughly 4.7-million-square-foot complex north of Dallas. Production officially began in December 2025, about three and a half years after groundbreaking. SM1 runs TI's foundational analog and embedded-processing technologies from 130nm down to 28nm, and is the lead fab in TI's plan to invest more than US$60 billion across seven fabs in Texas and Utah.
