Overview
Texas Instruments Sherman SM4 is the fourth and final 300mm fab in the master plan for TI's Sherman, Texas megasite. Reserved for future demand, it would complete the four-fab Sherman complex, one of the largest planned semiconductor sites in the United States, producing analog and embedded products on nodes from 130nm to 28nm. Texas Instruments' 300mm megasite in Sherman, Texas. TI states a potential US$40 billion investment covering up to four connected fabs (SM1 to SM4), with no cost published for any individual fab, so the figure is recorded once for the site. SM1 entered production in December 2025; SM2 is under construction.
