Overview
Texas Instruments Sherman SM2 is the second 300mm wafer fab at TI's Sherman, Texas megasite. Its exterior shell was completed alongside the neighboring SM1, with equipping to proceed based on customer demand. Together SM1 through SM4 represent a potential investment of up to US$40 billion at the Sherman site and would make it one of the largest semiconductor manufacturing complexes in the United States, producing analog and embedded products from 130nm to 28nm. Texas Instruments' 300mm megasite in Sherman, Texas.
