Intel Fab 24, at the Leixlip campus in County Kildare, Ireland, is a 12-inch (300mm) logic fab and part of Intel's European manufacturing base. It has produced processors on the Intel 7 (10nm) and older 14nm generations, and neighbors the newer, EUV-equipped Fab 34 on the same campus. Fab 24 began high-volume production in June 2004 as a $2 billion, 300mm/90nm facility -- Intel's first 300mm fab outside the United States -- and has since been upgraded through successive process generations.
