Intel D1X is the primary R&D facility for Intel's lead process technology development, located at the Ronler Acres Campus. Module 1 was a $3 billion, 240,000 sq ft cleanroom that opened for volume production in 2013, later joined by Module 2 (2015/2017) and Module 3 (announced 2022).
