Overview
Micron's Sanand facility in Gujarat is the company's first semiconductor site in India, an assembly, test, mark and packaging (ATMP) plant representing about US$2.75 billion of combined Micron and government-incentive investment. Inaugurated in February 2026, it takes finished DRAM and NAND wafers from Micron's global network and turns them into packaged memory chips and modules; its cleanroom of more than 500,000 square feet is among the largest raised-floor cleanrooms in the world.
