Overview
Samsung Fab S4 is a 300mm line at Samsung's Hwaseong campus that was converted in 2018 from part of DRAM Line 11 to produce CMOS image sensors, part of Samsung's push to expand ISOCELL image-sensor capacity. DRAM lines can be converted to image-sensor production relatively cheaply because the two processes are about 80 percent identical.
