Overview
Samsung Pyeongtaek P2 (Pyeongtaek Line 2) is a 300mm memory fab on Samsung's Pyeongtaek campus in Gyeonggi-do. Spanning more than 128,900 square meters, it was Samsung's biggest semiconductor production line when it opened and began mass production in August 2020 with the industry's first 16Gb LPDDR5 mobile DRAM, built on Samsung's third-generation 10nm-class (1z) process using EUV lithography. The line also produces NAND flash alongside DRAM. Samsung's management committee approved an investment of up to 30 trillion won (~$27 billion) for the P2 line in February 2018.
