Overview
Samsung Hwaseong V1 is Samsung's first dedicated EUV foundry line, on the Hwaseong campus in Gyeonggi Province. Built for about US$6 billion and in production from 2020, it manufactures leading-edge logic on 7nm, 6nm, 5nm and 4nm EUV processes, ramping Samsung's most advanced foundry nodes ahead of the Pyeongtaek and Taylor sites.
