The TSMC UAE Megafab was a rumored plan, reported in 2025, for a very large leading-edge (2nm-class) 300mm fab complex in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, floated at a scale of up to US$100 billion. TSMC did not commit to the project and it is recorded here as cancelled; the company's leading-edge capacity remains centered in Taiwan, with overseas fabs in Arizona, Japan and Germany.
