TSMC JASM Phase 1 is the first major fabrication plant in Kumamoto, Japan, operated by Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing. It achieved mass production in late 2024, focusing on specialty nodes to support the domestic automotive and industrial supply chains.
