Construction is currently underway as part of a rapid expansion strategy to establish Southern Taiwan as a core hub for next-generation semiconductor manufacturing. Key facility details include: The facility is situated at 1, Yuanqu N. Rd., Nanzi Dist., Kaohsiung City 811, Taiwan, R.O.C. . It focuses on Logic / Foundry and 2 process nodes on 300mm wafers. Production at this facility is expected to begin in 2027.
TSMC Fab 22
TSMC's 2nm manufacturing campus in Kaohsiung. TSMC announced a total investment of NT$1.5 trillion (about US$45.2 billion) in April 2025 covering the five fabs planned for the site. No per-fab breakdown was published, so the figure is recorded once for the campus.
